My Goals have changed this morning.  Registration opened up at midnight for the Houston Half Marathon, and I woke up at 3AM to sign up over the net. The dang thing was already sold out! So I signed up for the Real Deal. I'm doing the Houston Marathon on January 17. But the day got sweeter for me as well.  I ran 14 miles this morning. That's the farthest I've ever run in my life. That being said, I accomplished a half marathon and then some, so I guess this is going to be a good thing.  I accomplished 3 firsts this morning. 1. I signed up for my first marathon, 2. I broke my previous distance record, 3. I ran a little more than the equivilant of a Half Marathon. And all before 8AM. So if you'll excuse me now I'm going to sit in the bath tub the rest of the day and try to regain control of my bodily functions....lol..=)

It sold out in under 3 hours at midnite? Wow, that's a popular race!
